DVS KUSTOMS ® PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT
In an effort to keep your shopping experience convenient, enjoyable and most importantly, safe; DVS KUSTOMS ® is committed in protecting your privacy online. Below is a brief outline of our privacy policy.
Information Collection and Use
DVS KUSTOMS ® is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. When you shop on our website, we collect personal information from you such as name, address, email, phone number and/or credit card information. This information is used for billing purposes for filling customer's orders, contacting customers to inform them of order status and sending promotional information. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. DVS KUSTOMS ® collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement within the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing
We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any person individually.
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to charge users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
Security
DVS KUSTOMS ® takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.
When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as name, address, phone number, credit card information), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry, SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. When you submit your order, the sensitive information is sent to our secure server that is retrieved only by authorized administrators via secure connection and pass worded logs.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (i.e. for billing purposes or service representatives) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our webpage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we would notify users by way of email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
RETURN POLICY
If you need to return or exchange an item, please call 408.971.3871. We will accept returns within 15 days of delivery. All merchandise being returned or exchanged must be new, and unmounted. DVS Kustoms will make one (1) exchange of the wheels purchased so long as the customer pays for the shipping and handling to and from DVS Kustoms. Any exchanges after that will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Once you install wheels on your car, they can not be returned. There are no returns on used or damaged merchandise. Any Shipment received in conditions other than brand new will be charged a 50% restocking fee on the total amount.
There are no returns, exchanges or cancellations on special orders of any kind.
Refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the purchase. When returning wheels for credit, a $100 restocking fee and all freight charges will be deducted from the total amount refunded to your credit card. This also applies to shipments that are refused or cancelled prior to shipping.
Any Credits due to missing parts or uncompleted labor, such as balancing or lugs, will be credited as follows: $10 for lug nuts and $25 for balancing. These shortages in missing parts or uncompleted labor must be reported to DVS Kustoms customer service within 48 hours of receiving the original order. For balancing problems the customer has 10 days to report the problem to DVS Kustoms customer service to receive their $25 credit for balancing.
Shipping and Damage Claims
Upon receipt, please inspect your package. If your shipment has arrived damaged, please contact your local UPS customer service within 48 hours of receipt to report the damage. Save all packaging material for UPS inspection. UPS will inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise to return to DVS Kustoms.
Merchandise must be completely repackaged in the original packing for return or wrapped in plastic and boxed before they are returned to us. After UPS has been notified, you must call our customer service within 48-hours of delivery to report the damages and/or shortages. No claims will be accepted after 48 hours.
Manufacturers Warranties
Merchandise covered by a manufacturer.s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist you in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer.s warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers. warranties, there are no other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability for a particular purpose.
The Customer is liable for any and all shipping costs when returning or exchanging an item. This also applies to any issues concerning warranty.
Shipping and labor are non-refundable.
Any part or piece returned, must be made within 15 days. After 15 days no returns will be allowed.
For customers purchasing wheels only (i.e. no tires), once a tire is mounted on a wheel no returns will be allowed.
